Summary

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to work from our Truro office, as part of our Finance Team and in collaboration with other departments. Part-time hours (a minimum of 25 hours per week over a 5-day week) may be considered.

Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience working in Accounts
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service, administrative and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
  • Flexibility and a solution-driven approach to work
  • GCSE Maths at grade 6 or above
Responsibilities
  • Managing payment queries from our internal teams and directly from our Members
  • Managing and handling payments, direct debit instructions and refunds of insurance premiums
  • Making calls to Members to discuss late or missing payments
  • Processing invoices and setting up purchasing and claims payments
  • Handling and preparing for banking all monies received, in accordance with agreed company procedures
  • Carrying out bank reconciliations
