Role Summary and Impact

As an eCommerce Account Manager, you’ll be expected to advise clients on how to maximise the effectiveness of their eCommerce Marketing at all stages, from eCommerce specific media to content and conversion rate optimisation. You may have a background including eCommerce, Amazon optimisation, search (PPC / SEO), content, consulting, manufacturing brands and/or retailer clients. You do not need expertise in all of these areas but will need to develop the relevant skills and knowledge to be effective in the role.

This role is ideal for someone looking to help shape a growth area for our agency, and while it is positioned within a specific account or accounts, you’ll also be expected to work with the wider eCommerce Practice, which is a horizontal team that covers all clients within the agency.

About You

You are an established senior member within an eCommerce environment and a known experienced specialist in retail and commerce media. You demonstrate a proactive and inquisitive mindset, and a real driver who inspires direct reports and peers alike. You confidently challenge inherited ways of working with your own ideas for improvement and evolution that fit the overarching EssenceMediacom processes and vision.

Key Skills
  • In‑depth understanding of eCommerce campaign set‑up, management, optimisation and reporting across media owner and technology vendor platforms.
  • Excellent understanding of the strategic and tactical application of eCommerce and digital marketing in general.
  • Proven project management, leadership and people management experience.
