Position Summary

The role involves providing a comprehensive, effective, and efficient business support and administration service to the Senior Management Team to support the delivery of the ELHSCP key performance indicators and quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a full range of administrative and secretarial support of a consistently high standard to the Management Team, including acting as the first point of contact for any enquiries and responding or referring on as appropriate.
  • Maintain a number of databases and systems, including training users in their operation.
  • Supervision of staff and associated duties, where applicable.
  • Ensure a PVG Scheme membership/record; if not current, apply to Disclosure Scotland and be deemed satisfactory before commencing.
  • Prepare for potential changes to criminal records checks effective 1 April 2025, including any additional requirements for regulated roles.
Legal and Practical Considerations
  • To work in the United Kingdom, a valid right to work is required, as granted by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.
  • As this post is part‑time, the salary will be pro‑rata.
