IT Support Specialist

BCIC Swiss GmbH | Best Connect International Company is looking for a full-time on-site IT Support Specialist in Germany.

Location & Work Details

• Location: Mannheim, Germany
• Type: Full-time, On-site
• Hours: 8 hours per day

Responsibilities

1. Provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
2. Work with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
3. Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
4. Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
5. Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS, macOS & Microsoft Office. Cisco Jabber is another authorized desktop application.
6. Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
7. Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, and printers.
8. Perform remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
9. Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.
10. This position requires the ability to work in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Must hold a valid work permit in Germany.
2. Several years of professional experience in the field of IT support.
3. Fluent English & local language (at least B2).
