Job Purpose

We’re seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Digital Trade Assistant for our Beauty Category who is passionate about the intersection of beauty and e-commerce. The role focuses on ensuring the seamless execution of product launches, monitoring website performance, and analyzing trading data to drive business growth.

What you will be doing

  • Assist in executing digital trading strategies to drive sales and maximise profitability across online platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure digital strategies align with overall business goals and market trends.
  • Assist in monitoring website functionality, including product visibility, links, and navigation.
  • Flag and troubleshoot operational issues such as incorrect pricing, missing content, or technical glitches.
  • Collaborate with the different teams to execute trade-focused initiatives.
  • Track daily and weekly sales, identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Analyze performance metrics such as conversion rates, click-through rates, and customer behavior trends.
  • Prepare detailed reports to share actionable insights with the Digital Trade Manager and broader team.
  • Partner with the marketing team to align trading activities with promotional calendars and campaigns.
  • Work with customer service teams to address trading-related inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
  • Ensure smooth communication with supply chain teams to maintain accurate product availability online.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in the beauty and e-commerce industries, sharing insights to support strategic planning.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance the digital shopping experience and improve customer satisfactions

What we are looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, e-Commerce, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in e-commerce or digital trading, preferably within the beauty industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proficiency in Excel and experience using e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento).
