We’re seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Digital Trade Assistant for our Beauty Category who is passionate about the intersection of beauty and e-commerce. The role focuses on ensuring the seamless execution of product launches, monitoring website performance, and analyzing trading data to drive business growth.
What you will be doing
- Assist in executing digital trading strategies to drive sales and maximise profitability across online platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure digital strategies align with overall business goals and market trends.
- Assist in monitoring website functionality, including product visibility, links, and navigation.
- Flag and troubleshoot operational issues such as incorrect pricing, missing content, or technical glitches.
- Collaborate with the different teams to execute trade-focused initiatives.
- Track daily and weekly sales, identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Analyze performance metrics such as conversion rates, click-through rates, and customer behavior trends.
- Prepare detailed reports to share actionable insights with the Digital Trade Manager and broader team.
- Partner with the marketing team to align trading activities with promotional calendars and campaigns.
- Work with customer service teams to address trading-related inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- Ensure smooth communication with supply chain teams to maintain accurate product availability online.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in the beauty and e-commerce industries, sharing insights to support strategic planning.
- Contribute ideas to enhance the digital shopping experience and improve customer satisfactions
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, e-Commerce, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in e-commerce or digital trading, preferably within the beauty industry.
- Strong analytical skills with a proficiency in Excel and experience using e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento).
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and other performance measurement tools is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
