Job description
Compliance Manager/Senior Compliance Manager

Cavenwell Group is an international corporate and fiduciary services provider headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We act for private clients and family offices across a range of global structuring needs, spanning the DIFC, ADGM, Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, Jersey, and other key jurisdictions.

We are supervised by multiple financial services regulators, including:

  • The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) in the DIFC
  • The Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) in the ADGM
  • The Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) in Jersey

We’re now looking to hire a Compliance Manager/Senior Compliance Manager to support and enhance our internal compliance function as we continue to scale. This is a newly created role, focused entirely on Cavenwell’s internal compliance systems and frameworks.

This role will suit someone who is organised, practical and detail-oriented, but also confident improving workflows and engaging with digital tools. You’ll be responsible for maintaining core registers, running compliance monitoring processes, and working with the wider team to ensure our governance remains robust and future-fit.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Maintain and continuously improve our internal compliance framework across all regulated jurisdictions.
  • Administer and enhance our internal compliance monitoring plan, ensuring outputs are documented and escalated appropriately to the board(s).
  • Maintain and govern key internal registers (e.g., gifts, breaches, conflicts, fitness & propriety, training logs).
  • Prepare and deliver internal compliance reports to the Board and participate in governance meetings.
  • Coordinate policy reviews and ensure compliance documents remain aligned with regulatory expectations.
  • Oversee periodic reviews of client files conducted by the client service team.
  • Analyse internal data from registers, workflows, or trackers to identify emerging risks or inefficiencies.
  • Support internal audits, periodic compliance reviews, and regulatory reporting.
  • Review and improve compliance workflows and processes, including reporting mechanisms, documentation procedures, and risk controls.
  • Identify opportunities for systemisation and simplification of compliance tasks using logic-based tools or no-code platforms.
  • Use digital tools to implement and automate compliance workflows, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and efficient.
  • Assist with periodic regulatory filings and reporting to authorities, in coordination with our UAE-based MLRO.
What We’re Looking For
  • 6-8 years’ experience in a compliance or risk role in a financial services, trust company, FinTech, or regulated advisory environment.
  • Understanding of core compliance obligations and frameworks under one or more of the DFSA, FSRA, JFSC, FCA, or similar.
  • Excellent organisation, documentation, and process management skills.
  • Digitally confident — capable of navigating workflows and improving registers or processes using modern, logic-based tools.
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to interpret regulatory expectations into practical action points.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working in a lean, dynamic environment.
  • ICA, ACAMS, or similar professional qualifications preferred.
Why Join Cavenwell?

As an owner-managed business with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, we focus on outcomes. Our culture is more closely aligned with a technology firm than a traditional trust company, and we welcome people who take initiative and look for ways to improve how we work.

We are building one of the most modern, client-focused, and well-governed fiduciary firms in the region — and we are looking for people who want to be part of that journey.
