Job Purpose: The Head of Supply Chain oversees procurement, logistics, inventory management, and import/export control, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role focuses on optimizing operations, reducing costs, and aligning supply chain strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning

• Develop and implement a supply chain strategy aligned with business goals.
• Identify risks and opportunities, implementing strategies to mitigate and capitalize on them.
• Ensure alignment between supply chain activities and company objectives.
• Build and maintain a strong supplier network to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
• Negotiate favorable contracts and monitor supplier performance.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and sourcing strategies.

Logistics & Inventory Control

• Develop an efficient logistics strategy for timely delivery of goods.
• Manage transportation, warehousing, and inventory levels to minimize costs and prevent shortages.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations.

Supply Chain Optimisation

• Continuously improve processes for greater efficiency and cost reduction.
• Leverage technology to enhance supply chain visibility and performance.
• Integrate sustainability principles into supply chain operations.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
• Recruit, train, and provide performance feedback to drive success.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in procurement and logistics.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Aviation industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in supply chain software and tools.
