Overview

Senior Software Engineer position with 100% remote work and EST hours requirement. We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with expertise in React, Node.js, OAuth, and Highcharts to join our remote team. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our investment platform's front office tools. While financial services experience is a plus, it is not a requirement.

Pay: $80 - $90/hr W2

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using React and Node.js.
• Implement authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth.
• Create dynamic and interactive data visualizations using Highcharts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for software development.
• Work closely with product managers and designers to understand user requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure the security and integrity of applications deployed on Azure.

Experience and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong portfolio of web applications.
• Proficiency in React and Node.js.
• Experience with OAuth for authentication and authorization.
• Strong knowledge of Highcharts for data visualization.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and deployment processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a remote team.
• Financial services experience is a plus but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
• Understanding of financial markets and investment platforms.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Education

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar concentration preferred.
