The Retail Store Associate at Redfeather Outdoors in Ely, MN is a customer-facing position focused on creating a friendly, engaging, and helpful shopping experience. As a member of our retail team, you will support store operations by assisting customers, restocking merchandise, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, and ensuring a positive brand experience aligned with ORC Industries' mission of elevating people by eliminating barriers to employment.

1. Greets every customer with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a willingness to help.

2. Assists customers with locating, selecting, and understanding products, including Redfeather snowshoes and outdoor gear.

3. Operates cash register efficiently and accurately; processes sales, returns, and exchanges.

4. Operates telephone, cordially answering calls.

5. Promotes customer loyalty programs and shares information about promotions and store events.

6. Maintains store cleanliness including fitting rooms, register areas, and displays. 7. Replenishes and restocks shelves, fixtures, and floor displays to ensure merchandise is always available and well-presented.

8. Helps set up merchandising displays, seasonal product layouts, and promotional signage.

9. Follows all procedures for handling damaged or defective merchandise. 10. Participates in daily opening and closing duties, including cleaning, recovery, and safety checks.

11. Contributes to a positive, inclusive workplace culture that reflects ORC’s mission.

12. Performs other retail-related duties as assigned.
