Role Overview

Under the direction of the President, Acute Care Hospital Division, the President, Chief Hospital Executive, Riverview Medical Center provides leadership, direction and administration on all aspects of day-to-day hospital operations to achieve targeted objectives. This includes nursing and support services, medical staff/team member/patient satisfaction, medical manpower, business development and financial performance. Located on the Navesink River in Red Bank, New Jersey, Hackensack Meridian Health Riverview Medical Center offers the convenience and personalized service of a community hospital, combined with state-of-the-art technology and resources. Working with physicians and specialists from top medical schools and residency programs, the team has served generations of families for almost 100 years.

  • Master Degree - business administration or hospital administration.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in strategic hospital operations.
  • Five (5) years of experience in senior level leadership.
  • Demonstrated leadership and complex organizational management skills.
  • Well developed planning, marketing, organizational development, and business skills.
  • Information systems capabilities and appreciation for the data required to make meaningful management decisions.
  • Ability to work with physicians and professionals in multiple settings and locations and to promote diversity in the workplace.
  • Excellent leadership and people skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Experience in creating and managing budgets.
