Overview

A closed door pharmacy is looking to hire a Pharmacy Benefits Specialist. This role will include processing pharmacy claims, triaging rejected claims, and verifying benefits. Prior Pharmacy benefits experience is required as well as the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Process pharmacy claims
• Triaging rejected claims
• Verify benefits
• Work with shifting schedules and multitask to manage multiple responsibilities

Shifts and Training

• Shifts: This is a full-time, 40-hour per week role. 3 shift options are available:
• Rotating shifts between 8 AM – 4 PM CST, Monday – Friday OR
• 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM CST, Monday - Friday EST (fixed shift) OR
• 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM CST , Monday - Friday EST (fixed shift)
• All shifts require a rotational Saturday shift 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST
• There will be a required shift during the 8 week training period of 9 AM - 5 PM CST

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Pharmacy Benefits experience - processing claims, triaging denials, verifying benefits
• 1+ year of Insurance experience
• Ability to work onsite
• Strong customer service and ability to multitask
