Hoselton Nissan Sales Consultant

If you are motivated and results-driven, join our dynamic team, where you’ll have the unique opportunity to sell and cross-sell across all the brands we represent. (includes New Nissan, Toyota & Chevrolet vehicles and our large inventory of Pre-Owned vehicles). The ideal candidate will have a passion for automobiles, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. A self-driven individual without sales experience is also welcome to apply. As an Automotive Sales Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing sales deals while providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities
  1. Actively prospect and generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and referrals. Meet and exceed sales targets by converting leads into sales opportunities.
  2. Develop a deep understanding of our automotive inventory, features, and specifications. Educate customers on vehicle options, financing, and aftermarket products to meet their needs and preferences.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial contact to vehicle delivery. Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers to promote repeat business and referrals.
  4. Conduct needs assessments to understand customers' requirements and preferences. Recommend vehicles and additional products based on their budget, lifestyle, and usage.
  5. Negotiate terms and pricing to reach mutually beneficial agreements with customers. Close sales transactions efficiently while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  6. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently to finalize sales transactions. Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
  7. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offering, and market dynamics. Provide feedback to management regarding customer preferences, pricing strategies, and product improvements.
  8. Work collaboratively with the sales team, finance department, and other departments to achieve sales objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Qualifications
  1. Proven track record in automotive sales or a related field. (We offer training if you don't have automotive sales experience.)
  2. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  3. Strong customer service orientation with a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
  5. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  6. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  7. High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.

Required Competencies
  • Basic knowledge of automotive mechanics and a thorough understanding of prices, models, series, options, and other variations of the selling manufacturers' products, as well as competitive products and prices
  • Self‑motivated and ethical with the ability to multi‑task and prioritize workload
  • High motivation, work ethic, and enthusiasm with a professional appearance and attitude
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Some computer knowledge and/or experience
  • Ability to use a computer and navigate through a custom CRM
  • High school diploma, or equivalent, required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
