The role you\'ll contribute:

The Director of Neuroscience Institute has responsibility for Institute operations and deploying strategies for the designated market, managing Program Managers, system Institute Medical Education and Courses/Conferences, Fellowship Programs, and providing support on system/corporate wide partnerships and strategic ventures. In addition to the West Florida Division, this individual will assist in building relationships with other Central Florida- and Multi-State Division Neuroscience service-line leaders. Responsibility for partnerships will include planning, advising, executing, managing, and expanding across the Division and corporation, as applicable.

Programs of responsibility (in market and/or system) may include Neuromodulation, Neurodiagnostics, Brain Services, Spine Program, General and Subspecialty Neurology, Scaling Neurocritical Care, and Neurovascular/Stroke Services.

In collaboration with other system Institutes (Cardiovascular, Neuroscience, Orthopedics, Transplant, and Digestive Health and Surgical Advancement) as well as campus executive leadership, the Executive Director also:

  1. supports/presents strategic planning and visioning,
  2. ushers changes to programs and services,
  3. drives innovation through a unified market strategy,
  4. supports recruitment of provider talent,
  5. coordinates the acquisition of technology and information systems,
  6. drives the elevation of clinical performance and quality,
  7. supports clinical research,
  8. leads stewardship that transforms care delivery and
  9. partners with industry to formulate new innovative approaches to care.

In addition, the Executive Director is responsible for engaging with Advent Health Medical Group to create and implement new physician models that position Neuroscience Services as a destination site for patients and a national referral site for a variety of clinical services. This leader will also partner with Foundation and other philanthropic entities that support Neuroscience Services.

The value you\'ll bring to the team:

  • Institute operations and deploying strategies for the designated market, managing Directors, system Institute Medical Education and Courses/Conferences, Fellowship Programs, and providing support on system/corporate wide partnerships and strategic ventures.
  • Development and strategic planning for the Neuroscience programs in the Market/West Florida Division.
  • Partners with inpatient nursing, laboratory, pharmacy, pathology, revenue cycle, and imaging to provide connected care to patients.
  • Develops relationships with key customers. Provides leadership that fosters collegial relations among matrix departments, staff, physicians, and business partners to ensure quality service.
  • Oversees new facility planning and construction to ensure timelines are met. Provides oversight to ACS departments and IHS offices, including building maintenance and improvements, signage, safety and security, parking, effective use of space, and tenants.
  • Oversees development of effective marketing strategies for consumers and physicians.
  • Oversees program expansion into target market through development and implementation of affiliate/network/physician strategies.
Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you\'ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Healthcare or Business Administration or related area .
  • Six (6) years of healthcare experience.
