A leading health system is seeking a Finance Data Analyst to enhance cost savings analytics and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in analytics-related fields and experience in SQL and data visualization tools. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to drive financial data insights. Flexible work arrangements available for eligible candidates. This role focuses on system-wide cost savings analytics and reporting, utilizing internal costing tools and data platforms to validate and automate projects within the Cost Stewardship team. It is a highly visible position that interacts with various teams, offering unique experience in Health System Optimization and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
This position helps develop and deploy world class financial data analytics at Intermountain Health, one of the nation’s leading health systems. The Staff level Finance Data Analyst is a member of the Finance Decision Support team comprised of technical professionals contributing to the achievement of Intermountain’s strategic initiatives, clinical excellence, and operational targets through data-driven insights, with a finance focus. Analyst caregivers report to finance analytic leaders while partnering with key business and clinical leaders across all areas of Intermountain Health.

Bachelor's degree in analytics related fields such as statistics, mathematics, information systems, computer science, finance, business management, or economics with two years of relevant work experience in a role performing data analysis.
Or Bachelor’s degree in another area of study with four years of relevant work experience in a role performing data analysis.
Experience without a related degree will be considered if skill set and experience are robust.

Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.
For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
