Job Description

As a Field Services Coordinator in the Applied Technology team, you will collaborate with design teams to deliver training, consulting, standards implementation, and technical support for operational efficiency. You will work with CAD, BIM, and GIS specialists to develop strategies for effective technical solutions. The role includes responsibility for assessing risks and threats to company information systems regarding the Bentley software platform.

Responsibilities
  • Support & Technology Ownership: Provide Tier 3 & 4 support for field services software and hardware, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and documentation
  • Manage mobile device setup and workflows for field services projects
  • Administer and support Metafield and OpenGround KeyLab platforms
  • Oversee lab computer and equipment maintenance and updates
  • Support software installation, configuration, and license management across field teams
  • Field Equipment & Data Management: Manage surveying and field services equipment (e.g., data collectors, tablets, LiDAR)
  • Track and maintain inventory of field hardware and software assets
  • Implement and maintain mobile data storage and transfer strategies across disciplines
  • Assist CAD and Survey teams with hardware/software integration and support
  • Workflow & Standards Development: Collaborate with teams to develop and implement standardized workflows for field data collection and processing
  • Create documentation and training materials for field software and equipment usage
  • Support the integration of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other technical tools into field operations
  • Training & Collaboration: Conduct onboarding and training sessions for field services software and hardware
  • Facilitate user group meetings and live training events
  • Partner with internal teams to align field technology with Business Partner and Innovation initiatives

Note: We have one current opening and will consider candidates located near Lincoln, NE; Omaha, NE; Kansas City, MO; North Kansas City, MO; Springfield, MO; Oklahoma City, OK; Des Moines, IA. The role can be In-Office, Hybrid, or Remote.

  • Advanced knowledge of field data management tools (e.g., GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation)
  • Proficiency in Metafield, OpenGround, and additional field services platforms
  • Strong organizational skills for managing equipment, inventory, and documentation
  • Practical experience in mobile device management, hardware setup, and technical troubleshooting across software and hardware
