Position Summary

Fully Remote anywhere within the continental U.S.

The schedule is Monday through Friday,11:00 am to 8:00 pm Eastern Time.

The Consultant provides management consultation to corporate clients around issues of safety and risk, substance misuse, performance, psychological fitness for duty, violations of DOT federal regulations, and other workplace concerns. Coordinates critical incident and disruptive event response. Provides member clinical assessments and triage into care. Performs case management across scope of all types of management referrals, including consistent communication to corporate clients regarding compliance.

Fundamental Components

  • Provides management consultation to corporate clients around issues of safety and risk, substance misuse, performance, psychological fitness for duty, violations of DOT federal regulations and other workplace concerns.

  • Coordinates critical incident stress management process, including onsite and virtual interventions following critical incidents and disruptive events (workplace accidents, robberies, deaths, and other trauma).

  • Conducts clinical assessments and coordinates care of members subject to management referrals.

  • Performs case management of management referrals, collaborating with treatment providers, and providing consistent feedback to plan sponsors

  • Works collaboratively with management to ensure quality service delivery

  • Documents clinical information that meets risk management and regulatory requirements

  • Partners with account management to ensure strong customer relations and service satisfaction.

Additional Information

  • Must have computer literacy in order to navigate through internal/external computersystems, including Excel and Microsoft Word.

  • Ability to effectively participate in a multi-disciplinary team including internal and external participants.

  • Familiarity with basic terminology and concepts used in employee assistance/human services programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Unrestricted independent state licensure in a behavioral health field (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, LICSW, LPC, PhD).

  • 3+ years of experience in behavioral health services.

  • 2+ Substance abuse experience.

  • 2+ Crisis management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CEAP/EAP experience.

  • SAP/DOT experience.

  • CISM experience.

  • Human Resource and/or Supervisory experience.

  • Case management, Utilization Review, or Utilization Management background preferred.

Education

  • Master’s degree in behavioral health field.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,095.00 - $142,576.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
