Position Objective

This position is responsible for supporting the ongoing and evolving Social Media and Influencers strategy. In doing so, this role supports the corporate and brand objectives through coordination with the cross functional teams; will also support to develop a business vision for influencers and social media and identify opportunities and important trends.

Functional Responsibilities
  • Assists in identifying and evaluating business opportunities and implementing programming within social media sphere.
  • Assists with coordinating with marketing and creative teams to align goals and ensure smooth and timely implementation of content programs.
  • Supports the coordination with internal teams to create editorial content calendars as well as implement campaigns, posts, updates, etc. for social media platforms.
  • Assists with the managing and maintaining of brand pages on consumer social networking sites such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest and TikTok.
  • Collaborates and supports creative and social selling teams on social media content creation such as Reels, behind-the-scenes photos/videos, Lives etc.
  • Implements tactical social media initiatives, such as sweepstakes & giveaways, for customer acquisition and retention as well as monitors initiatives.
  • Tracks and monitors the success of influencer and social media initiatives and provide reports to management.
  • Executes monthly paid campaigns by developing brand content with multiple influencers
  • Assists with identifying key influencers (micro and macro); helping to cultivate influencer relationships and enhance paid and organic digital campaigns.
  • Responsible for influencer promo pitches and giftings
  • Assists in fulfillment of influencer product orders and samples
  • Educates internal partners and colleagues about social media and influencers, specifically around new trends and best practices.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external affiliate marketing partners, including rewardStyle and Shopstyle
  • Facilitates brand responses to customer inquiries and comments in partnership with the Customer Service team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • BS Degree, Marketing, PR, Communications or similar field required
  • 3+ years’ experience in Public Relations, social media, or communications strongly preferred
  • Strong writing, media relations, verbal communication and time management skills
  • Computer proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, Windows XP, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with digital media (video and photography), as well as social media platforms, programs, techniques, functionality, custom applications and blog platforms
  • Familiarity with creating social specific content such as Reels
  • Organizing and planning skills
  • Confidentiality and the ability to deal with sensitive information
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, concordant tasks and projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
