Job Summary
The Department of Public Health Informatics and Analytics is seeking an Application Programmer Analyst II to work on a team of developers on the DBHDID contract for the Department of Medicaid Services with the State of Kentucky. The Application Programmer Analyst II will work with evolving Microsoft, open-source, and web standard technologies such as ASP . NET Web Forms, ASP . NET MVC , C#, CSS , HTML , JavaScript, jQuery, and T- SQL to design, develop, and deploy web-based applications. The position requires a highly-organized and detail-oriented developer who is flexible with working in both SysOps and DevOps environments on multiple projects with varying scale and complexity. Strong communication skills and sensitivity to stakeholder requests are required, along with the initiative and flexibility needed to adapt within evolving technical landscapes. The APA II will work alongside the team lead and principal investigator of the project to ensure all stakeholder needs are met per contract requirements.
This position is set up as fully remote.
