Job Description

The Quantitative Data Intelligence (QDI) team provides data, insights, and analysis to the Global Markets front office. Our goal is to build a robust database from various sources and develop analysis, reports, and dashboards to deliver valuable insights swiftly and efficiently.

The team handles data processing steps including data feeds industrialization, ETL, Data Warehousing, and Data Visualization, working directly with business sponsors, sales, and traders.

We aim to shape technology solutions to meet client needs, utilizing Python and SQL for data processing, and delivering the final products via Tableau, Power BI, APIs, and chatbots.

Main Tasks
Data Visualization
  • Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
  • Ensure dashboards are user-friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with business requirements.
Data Management
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability.
  • Manage large datasets, perform data cleansing, and optimize data queries for performance.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that meet their objectives.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on Tableau dashboards.
Maintenance and Support
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to dashboards and reports.
  • Monitor and improve dashboard performance continuously.
Documentation
  • Maintain detailed documentation of dashboards, reports, and data sources.
  • Stay updated on Tableau features and best practices.
Qualifications
Skills
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a Tableau Developer.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Server.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Experience in data analysis with programming, preferably Python (Pandas).
  • Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, QlikView) is a plus.
Analytical Skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate into insights.
Communication Skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Other Skills
  • Attention to detail and focus on data accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of financial markets (fx, credit, rates, commodities) is a plus.
Language Skills
  • English - Mastery.
Additional Information
  • Hybrid work model (2 days/week) in Lisbon; during the first 3 months, more on-site presence is required.
