Qualificações

• Experiência prática em migração de banco de dados e execução de tarefas envolvidas.
• Conhecimento de recuperação de dados e técnicas de backup.
• Familiaridade com as operações do SQL Agent.

• Planejamento e execução da migração de banco de dados com mínima interrupção.
• Otimização do desempenho e validação pós-migração.
• Implementação de procedimentos de backup e recuperação robustos.

Conhecimentos

Experiência profissional como Administrador de Banco de Dados

Conhecimento das versões do SQL Server

Habilidade em desenvolvimento SQL: T-SQL

Otimizacão de desempenho de banco de dados

Gerenciamento de índices

We are looking for an SQL Database Administrator!

Responsibilities:

• Database Migration Planning: Collaborate with customer to understand requirements, analyze existing database environments, and develop comprehensive migration strategies.
• Migration Execution: Perform data migration tasks, including schema conversion, data transformation, and data loading. Ensure seamless migration with minimal disruption to operations.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize database performance before, during, and after the migration. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Backup and Recovery: Implement robust backup and recovery procedures to safeguard data during migration. Conduct post-migration validation to ensure data integrity.
• Database Upgrades: Plan and execute database upgrades as part of the migration process, ensuring compatibility and stability of applications.

Requirements:

• Professional experience as Database Administrator.
• Experience and knowledge of different SQL Server versions.
• Familiarity with tools of Ola Hallengren.
• Understanding of index management: Reorganize versus rebuild indexes.
• Knowledge of statistics and update statistics, backup/restore possibilities within SQL Server.
• Understanding of Recovery Model of a database and the impact on backups and log files.
• Familiarity with system databases and their usage.
• Knowledge of SQL Agent: how it works, how to configure it, and its possibilities.
• Understanding of TDE (Transparent Database Encryption).
• Security knowledge: default Server roles, default database roles, and application roles.
• Basic knowledge of high-availability solutions such as clustering, always on, mirroring, and log-shipping.
• SQL development skills: T-SQL, stored procedures, scalar/table valued functions, error handling, common table expressions, and join types.
• Understanding of transactions: commit and rollback, nested transactions.
• Knowledge of foreign keys, unique index versus primary key, and data types and their importance.
• Certificates and signed objects in security.
• Understanding of indexes: clustered, non-clustered, covered index, filtered index.
• Familiarity with In-memory OLTP: tables and native stored procedures and functions.
• Understanding of indexed views: pros and cons, execution plans, and query store.
• Good level of English.
