Responsabilidades

• Projetar e implementar pipelines de dados escaláveis usando Azure Data Factory, Databricks e Apache Spark.
• Otimizar fluxos de dados para desempenho e eficiência de custos.
• Construir e gerenciar lagos de dados e tabelas delta usando Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.

Join our data team as a Senior Data Engineer to design and optimize robust data pipelines on Azure and Databricks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accessible, reliable, and actionable data across the organization.

What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Apache Spark;
• Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency on Azure;
• Build and manage data lakes and delta tables using Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 and Delta Lake;
• Implement data quality, governance, and security best practices across pipelines;
• Collaborate with data scientists and BI developers to enable self-service analytics;
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and production jobs using tools like Azure Monitor and Databricks job runs;
• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles;
• Strong expertise in Azure Cloud Services;
• Proven experience with Databricks, Spark (PySpark or Scala), and Delta Lake;
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and distributed data processing;
• Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps);
• Familiarity with data modeling techniques (Kimball, Star Schema, Data Vault);
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools (e.g., Azure Purview, Unity Catalog, data lineage, data cataloging, metadata management).
