Guest Experience Manager

Position Overview

The Guest Relations Manager plays a pivotal role in both the guest experience and the long-term commercial success of the Bachmann Group portfolio. This position begins with a strategic assignment at FinisTerra Art & Sea Villas, where the Guest Relations Manager will be responsible for launching and overseeing all aspects of the villa experience during its critical opening and initial operating phase. After the first six months, this role will progressively extend to Balaia Golf Village Resort and Clube Albufeira, ensuring consistent excellence and innovation in guest service across all three properties.

Reporting directly to the Group Operations Director, this person acts as the bridge between the operational teams and the guest, ensuring all services are delivered with refinement, warmth, and efficiency—while also actively contributing to the group’s commercial and programming efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience Leadership

  • Be the primary contact for guests from pre-arrival to departure, ensuring warm, personalized service.
  • Execute and supervise check-in, villa orientation, daily guest relations, and service follow-up.
  • Implement and maintain brand standards across all guest-facing operations.
  • Tailor service rhythm and communication style to individual guest preferences.

Operational Oversight

  • Supervise and coordinate villa team efforts across housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B.
  • Ensure villa readiness and flawless execution of all operational SOPs.
  • Lead team briefings and uphold service discipline and presentation standards.

Sales, Partnerships & Business Support

  • Act as a commercial ambassador for TF and the group’s retreat and experience portfolio.
  • Identify and nurture partnerships for retreats, events, and wellness/creative programs.
  • Collaborate with the central sales team to ensure effective distribution, positioning, and rate strategies.
  • Monitor local trends and activate promotional opportunities aligned with the brand.

Cross-Property Integration

  • Following the launch of TF, progressively integrate the same level of service, guest personalization, and operational standards at Balaia and Clube Albufeira.
  • Adapt the guest relations approach to each property's unique context while aligning with group strategy.
  • Act as a mobile leader across the portfolio, ensuring presence and support where most needed.

Profile Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in hospitality, with strong exposure to guest relations and operational excellence.
  • Natural host personality with emotional intelligence, elegance, and discretion.
  • Comfortable with guest-facing technology, internal SOPs, and communication tools.
  • Commercially aware, with interest in marketing, programming, and events.
  • Adaptable, organized, and motivated to grow within a group structure.

We welcome international profiles who resonate with our values and are excited by the opportunity to help shape and grow a distinctive hospitality project in the south of Portugal.

To apply, please send a short motivational message explaining why this opportunity speaks to you, directly to Teresa Moreira.
