Qualificações

Our client is a Renewable Energy multinational company, that is looking for a Financial Controller based in Lisbon. This Financial Controller will oversee the financial of wind, solar, and energy storage projects under construction, as well as operational assets across Europe and the UK. You will also monitor key interfaces and contractual obligations with business partners and be responsible for financial reporting.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Manage and prepare information to support financial interfaces and contractual obligations with key business partners including financiers and investors, outsourced service providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare information to meet lender obligations including compliance with debt covenants, management of equity requirements and debt drawdowns during construction, calculation of loan coverage ratios during operation, and reports as required in the project agreements.
• Prepare periodic financial reporting, including cash-flow and accounting forecasts and budgets, updates to business and operational models, analysis of variances compared to budgets and business plans.
• Prepare and update operating models to analyze and monitor cash flows and debt ratios, and prepare information for budgeting and forecasting.
• Invoicing and monitoring receivables and payables, and management of financial interfaces with business services providers.
• Manage and review tax calculations and prepared financial statements and provide information during the half-year and full year audit processes.
• Provide support and information to the global finance consolidation team.
• Meet with Board of Directors and lenders, fulfilling reporting and management requirements.
• Provide briefings and project updates, on a regular basis or as required.

We are looking for:

• 5-8 years of experience in a similar position.
• Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field; ACA qualification or in progress is a plus.
• Proficiency in English is required. French, Portuguese, or Spanish is a plus but not essential.
• Strong business acumen with a hands-on approach; a team player.
• Ability to work collaboratively, with enthusiasm and commitment, in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
