One Works is looking for a talented Hydraulic Engineer to join our team in Milan or Venice.

Working collaboratively with our teams of architects and consultants, our Hydraulic Engineers work across different scales and infrastructure sectors. From major airport masterplans and exemplar metro stations to high-profile infrastructure and complex building extensions, carrying out drainage systems design, hydraulic modelling, sewage and water supply network design, and hydraulic securing assessments.

Minimum Requirements:

• MSc Civil Engineering with specialization in Hydraulic/Environmental Engineering;
• At least 5 years of experience in hydraulic engineering;
• 1-2 or 3 days per month is required at the Venice office;
• Proficiency with AutoCad, Civil 3D, and GIS software, EPA-SWIMM or similar;
• Strong knowledge in hydraulic infrastructure design and modelling;
• Professional English knowledge in speaking, reading, and writing;
• Ability to work in a BIM environment is an advantage;
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary design team;
• Effective communication;
• Problem-solving and adaptability;
• Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a large team;
• A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and commitment to independent, lifelong learning;
• English and Italian fluency.
