This opportunity is for a Fabricator Welder based at Newburn. The role involves joining and fabricating metal components using MAG welding techniques, working from technical drawings provided by our in‑house Rail Design Team. You will ensure each product meets quality standards and is delivered with a "Right First Time" approach. The contract is permanent, with a 36‑hour week Friday to Sunday 06:00 to 18:30 and a 25% shift uplift during those hours.

To be successful, you must have previous experience in MAG welding and interpreting technical drawings. Experience with Oxy‑Acetylene heating equipment and working to fine tolerances is desirable.

• Complete welding and fabrication jobs within required specifications.
• Read and interpret detailed product drawings.
• Deliver high‑quality work that meets QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow works instructions and health and safety protocols.

• Experience in MAG welding and fabrication.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Skilled in polishing and cosmetic finishing using hand air tools.
• Understanding of working to fine tolerances and digital bevel gauges.
