Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw are looking for a Ward Clerk/Data Analyst to join our dedicated team. This unique role combines frontline administrative support with data analysis to help us deliver exceptional care and continuously improve our services.

About the Role

To provide a high standard of administrative and data management support to Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, ensuring accurate patient records, efficient clinical administration, and robust data analysis to inform decision-making and improve service quality.

What You’ll Do

Act as the first point of contact for visitors, relatives, and healthcare professionals on our Adult Inpatient Unit.

  • Provide essential administrative support to hospice services.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with GDPR and information governance standards.
  • Manage and analyse data to produce high-quality reports aligned with key performance indicators.
  • Support system administration, template design, and staff training on EMIS.
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence with IT systems.
  • Experience in healthcare administration and/or data analytics is desirable.
  • A commitment to confidentiality and working with sensitivity in emotionally challenging environments.
