An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician to join our busy team at Lloyd Ltd Dumfries.

Are you a skilled and motivated Technician with experience working on commercial vehicles? Whether you’re already working in the sector or are looking for a new challenge with one of the UK’s leading machinery dealers, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:

• Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical and electrical repairs on a range of 4×4 vehicles, vans and other commercial vehicles.
• Inspecting and repairing vehicles.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to the highest standards.
• Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining strong working relationships.
• Completing all relevant administration including warranty paperwork and job cards.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds certified qualifications in the servicing and repair of vehicles.
• Has previous experience working in a similar role.
• Is a proactive team player who can also work independently.
• Is IT literate and comfortable using internal systems.
• Has strong communication skills and a professional approach.
• Holds a full UK driving licence.

Location: Based at Lloyd Ltd Dumfries (Tinwald Downs Road, Heathhall, Dumfries, DG1 3SJ).

Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday), with additional overtime available.
