About the Role:

As part of the software testing team, you will play a key role throughout the full Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC). You will be responsible for developing and maintaining test scripts, schedules, and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions across all systems. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining exceptional standards for both the business and its customers.

Responsibilities:

• Performing test-related tasks for the key test deliverables, working with colleagues, suppliers and customer resources as required.
• Work closely with stakeholders from each project and build relationships.
• Act as a point of contact for test-related activities within the Test Team.
• Help introduce automated testing with the Development Team.
• Develop test conditions, scenarios, cases and scripts according to the specific test phases (e.g. System Test, Integration Test, etc.).
• Utilise both manual and automated testing, as appropriate.
• Develop and follow testing metrics.
• Analyse requirements and design relevant tests.

Performance Measures:

• High Defect Detection Rate / Low defect leakage.
• Efficient and effective test coverage across assigned areas, with associated area knowledge used in mentoring and guidance.
• Good test case effectiveness.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven testing experience in a software development environment, including both portal and application.
• DevOps, Excel and Word experience.
• Test Automation experience (desirable).
