About the Role

OpenTeams is seeking an experienced, visionary Senior Solution Architect or Senior Solution Engineer (Sales) to未知加举量分布《•. In this pivotal role you will partner with the General Manager by being a trusted advisor to clients. You will lead client conversations for ideation, design, and implementation of complex, large‑scale, open‑source‑based AI solutions. Your expertise in AI/ML, data science, cloud/on‑prem platforms, and open‑source technologies will translate business requirements into technical architectures and drive team selection. Ideally you will also lead the technical direction from conception to successful delivery. This role uniquely positions you to shape the future of AI adoption across diverse organisations and contribute to the vibrant open‑source community.

Please note: This is a remote position but the candidate must live in the UK or in a country within ±2 ੱਟ time to the UK. No US candidates will be accepted, and relocation is not supported. Approximately 25 % travel within the EMEA region is expected.

What You’ll Do

• Client Engagement: Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, working closely with a general manager or customer enablement specialist to understand business challenges, identify AI innovation opportunities, and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Pre‑Sales Support: Collaborate with sales and business development to articulate OpenTeams’ capabilities, present technical solutions, and contribute to proposals and statements of work.
• Solution Leadership: Lead the end‑to‑end architectural design and technical strategy for complex open‑source AI solutions, from concept to deployment and optimisation.
• Technical Advisory: Provide expert guidance on open‑source AI frameworks, libraries, tools, and platforms (PyTorch, JAX, Kubeflow, Pydantic, Ray, MCP, LLMs, etc.).
• Architecture Definition: Develop comprehensive blueprints, including data pipelines, model training and deployment strategies, MLOps best practices, security considerations, and integration patterns.
• Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of APS, contribute to technical blogs, whitepapers.rand present at conferences.
• Community Engagement: Actively contribute to relevant open‑source projects and AI/ML communities.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Travel & Event Attendance: Expected average of one week per month for client meetings and event participation; actual travel may vary by project.

What We’re Looking For

• Open Source Expertise: Deep practical experience with a wide range of open‑source AI frameworks, libraries, and tools (emphasis on AI/ML).
• Software Engineering: Strong background in principles, design patterns, and best practices. Proficiency in Python is essential.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills, able to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
