A leading clean energy firm is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to embed and evolve the risk management framework. This role involves overseeing risk performance, mentoring a team, and ensuring robust practices across programs. Applicants should be well-versed in risk management best practices and have experience in complex infrastructure projects. The anticipated salary ranges from £68,000 to £89,000. Qualifications

  • Formal Risk Management qualification (e.g., IRM Certificate/Diploma).
  • Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (IRM, ALARM, APM).
  • Experience in nuclear or major infrastructure projects is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead risk management performance within the Programme.
  • Manage and mentor a team of risk managers and champions.
  • Develop and maintain Risk Management Plans and programme risk registers.
  • Facilitate risk workshops and reviews, ensuring mitigations are SMART and effective.
  • Conduct Quantitative Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis using tools.
  • Act as RMIS administrator and SME, delivering training and operational reporting.
  • Provide critical challenge and support to the Head of Risk.
