Qualifications

  • Experience of working with children with special educational needs in a primary school setting.
  • GCSE or equivalent qualifications in Math’s and English.
  • Knowledge of ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism and training in SEN.

Responsibilities

  • Provide additional support for young people with special educational, social, emotional, and behavior difficulties.
  • Implement the targets on pupils’ Individual Education Plan (IEP).
  • Run specific programs and activities to assist pupils’ individual learning and social needs.

Skills

Experience with children with special educational needs
Knowledge of social, cultural, and physical needs of pupils
Strong behavioral modeling
Interest in child learning and behavior

Education

GCSE in Maths and English
NVQ2 or equivalent in Supporting Teaching and Learning
