Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week), term-time + 2 weeks (a total of 45.8 weeks/year)

Do you have an interest in science? Are you keen to play a role in the education of the scientists of the future?

If so, we’d like to hear from you. We’re looking for an enthusiastic technician to join our Science Department to support the practical and technical aspects of the science curriculum. The successful candidate will:

  • support the work of teaching staff and students
  • liaise with teaching staff over equipment requirements
  • check stock and order resources
  • prepare and maintain science equipment, chemicals and other resources
  • follow health and safety procedures

An interest in science is important but organisational skills and ‘can do’ attitude are key to this role; relevant experience is desirable but not essential as appropriate training will be provided.
