Retail Supervisor – Part Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Cape Hill, Smethwick.

Hours: 16 hours per week. Pay: £13.11 per hour. Benefits include 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, staff benefits package, and more!

Pay & Benefits

Hourly pay rate of £13.11 with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week, meaning at least £209 per week. Overtime may be available.

Responsibilities
  • Important part of the management team, support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide great service.
  • Run the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly and routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean, and tidy shop.
  • Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop the team of retail assistants.
  • Control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
Qualifications

  • Trustworthy and reliable, dependable to the team and customers.
  • Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries is desirable but not required; we welcome aspirants ready to take first steps in management.
