Job summary

A leading children's residential care provider in Manchester is seeking a Registered Manager to lead a 4-bed home for young people. You will ensure a nurturing environment while managing the home per Ofsted regulations. The ideal candidate has substantial experience in childcare, holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, and possesses strong leadership skills. This role includes a salary up to £55,000 per annum plus significant bonuses and benefits, making a real difference in the lives of young people.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of The Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
  • Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the home in line with Ofsted regulations.
  • Develop individual care plans addressing education, health, and emotional needs.
  • Recruit, train, and retain a motivated staff team.
