Property Portfolio Underwriting Manager – Salary Circa £100,000

Are you a Property Underwriting expert who has a desire to make a difference and is ready to take a strategic leadership role? You’ll thrive if you enjoy shaping portfolio performance, working cross-functionally, and driving commercial outcomes.

We are looking for a strong, commercially minded technical expert to portfolio manage our mid-market commercial property account, supporting continued growth of the business and delivering excellent customer outcomes.

A bit about the job:

You’ll lead our Mid-Market Commercial Property Account, helping to shape our underwriting strategy and drive profitable growth. Working within the Mid-Market Portfolio and Underwriting Team, you’ll collaborate with Pricing, Actuarial, Finance, Claims, and Data Science to optimise performance. You’ll provide strategic direction, manage portfolio mix, and support underwriting capability development. This role brings real impact to our customers and brokers through smarter underwriting and better outcomes.

You will be responsible for delivering the financial plan outcomes through underwriting, pricing, underwriting quality, and portfolio management leadership underpinned and driven by a risk aware culture.

• Salary Circa £100,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
