North West (office-based) + National Projects

Are you ready to power up your career and make a real impact on the future of sustainable energy? Bethell have been building infrastructure across the North West for over 150 years. With long-term framework contracts and a strong reputation among utilities, local authorities, and blue-chip clients, we’re now accelerating our growth in our Green Energy Division.

Our Green Energy business unit is expanding rapidly, and your leadership will be at the heart of that growth. You’ll oversee the planning and delivery of civils projects, with a particular focus on HV and LV cable installation, inspection, testing, and EV charging networks.

As part of this exciting journey, we’re looking for a Project Co‑Ordinator who thrives on organisation, collaboration, and delivering excellence. If you love turning plans into reality and want to be part of a team driving change, this is your moment.

What You’ll Do
  • Be the backbone of our Green Energy projects – from preconstruction to completion.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Project Managers, Design, and Commercial teams to keep everything on track.
  • Create essential packs (CDM & Pre‑Construction) and ensure compliance every step of the way.
  • Keep customers informed, happy, and confident – because communication is key.
  • Help plan and coordinate HV & LV network installations, legal processes, and meter setups.
  • Spot challenges early, solve problems creatively, and keep projects moving smoothly.
What we’re looking for
  • Experience: 3+ years in utilities or a similar role (ICP background? Even better!)
  • Skills: Strong planning, organisation, and communication chops. MS Office wizardry is a must; MS Project is a bonus.
  • Knowledge: CDM regulations, DNO / IDNO processes and electrical networks (LV/HV) would make you shine.
  • Qualities: Proactive, trustworthy, and motivated by results. A true team player who loves continuous improvement Most importantly, you’ll be someone who thrives on responsibility, leads with confidence, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality infrastructure that supports a sustainable future.
What’s in it for you?
  • Work on projects that matter – shaping a greener future.
  • Enjoy a collaborative culture where your ideas count.
  • Competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities to grow.
  • A supportive culture – recognised by Investors in People (Gold) and the We Invest In wellbeing (Silver)

We are proud to be an equal opportunities employer and signatories of the Armed Forces Covenant, actively recruiting ex-forces personnel, veterans, and their families.
