Job description

We are looking for an Product Lifecycle Manager (Activity Manager) to join our Supply Chain Planning team. This is a high impact, cross‑functional role responsible for managing product changes across the John West portfolio, from new launches to renovations and product exits.

The role acts as the single point of coordination between Supply Chain, Commercial, Marketing, Central Planning, and manufacturing partners, ensuring product changes are executed accurately, on time, and without disruption to service or inventory.

The role will report to Senior Planning Manager, and will be based in our Liverpool office.

Your Responsibilities
Product Change & Activity Management
  • Own end-to-end coordination of:
  • New product launches (innovation)
  • Product renovations
  • Product delists and exits
  • Act as the Supply Chain representative in cross‑functional project forums
  • Align timelines across Sales, Marketing, Planning, Central teams, and factories
  • Manage phase‑in / phase‑out plans to protect service levels and minimize write‑offs
Master Data & Systems
  • Create and maintain accurate product master data in SAP
  • Ensure correct SKU setup, BOMs, certifications, barcodes, and lifecycle status
  • Enable accurate production planning, forecasting, shipping, and reporting
  • Support service performance during launch and delist windows
  • Reduce material write‑offs and service losses during product transitions
  • Provide clear guidance to Sales and Demand Planning on go‑live and stop‑ship timing
