Job Description

What will you be doing?

We are seeking an experienced Draftsman to act as the bridge between our design and supplier teams. You will ensure accurate and efficient data flow across 2D drawings, supporting precision engineering in high-performance environments such as Formula 1, Automotive, and Aerospace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and maintain high-quality 2D drawings, with a focus on Jigs & Fixtures.
• Work closely with design and supplier teams to ensure accurate data transfer and feedback.
• Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles to all drawings.
• Interpret and work with designs for machined metallic components, composites, polymers, and electrically machined parts.
• Ensure compliance with project and industry standards.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related discipline.
• Strong 2D drafting skills, particularly for Jigs & Fixtures.
• Proficiency in NX Siemens CAD software.
• Solid understanding of GD&T principles.
• Background in Formula 1, Automotive, or Aerospace environments.
• Strong communication skills for effective liaison between design and supplier teams.
