Job summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a Phlebotomist in Newcastle. The role involves efficiently collecting blood and ensuring donor safety while adhering to standards. Candidates must be registered with HPCSA and have a current CPR certificate. Strong attention to detail and customer service skills are essential. Flexibility for variable work hours and lifting responsibilities will be required. This is a permanent position with competitive remuneration.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with HPCSA and maintain CPR certification.
• Must be able to drive a company vehicle as needed.
• Prepared to work overtime and lifted heavy loads (up to 14kg).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and close clinics efficiently to achieve blood collection targets.
• Conduct donor registrations accurately and courteously.
• Perform basic physical checks to assess donor suitability.
• Execute Phlebotomy procedures professionally according to SOPs.
• Carry out general administrative duties.
