Job description
Grow Leader Volunteer Coordinator - Voluntary Role

We are looking for 3 passionate and committed individuals keen to volunteer to assist in the delivery of the land management programme over the 2026 growing season, with food growing and habitat management tasks, coordinating volunteer groups, ensuring volunteers are kept safe and supported in their role.

You will volunteer closely with Grow Wilder’s Land Management Officer.

Grow Wilder is Avon Wildlife Trust’s unique urban growing hub, learning centre and wildflower nursery for Bristol. In our 6 acres site we work with organisations and community groups to maintain a wildlife friendly space to give people of all ages and backgrounds opportunities to connect with nature.

Together we engage a diverse audience through food growing, nature regeneration and conservation courses, wellbeing and crafts activities with which we deliver positive social impact.

Desirable frequency / duration: 2 days a week, Wednesday and Fridays. Starting on Wednesday 4th March until the end of your grow Leader course in December 2026
