Groundcare Engineer – Lloyd Ltd Newcastle

Are you a skilled and motivated engineer with experience working on groundcare machinery? Whether you’re already working in the sector or hold certified qualifications in the servicing and repair of machinery, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for a Groundcare Engineer to join our busy and friendly team at Lloyd Ltd Newcastle.

What you’ll be doing

• Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of groundcare machinery and equipment.
• Working both in our workshop and out in the field to support customer needs.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to the highest standards.
• Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining strong working relationships.
• Completing all relevant administration, including warranty paperwork and job cards.

We’re looking for someone who

• Has completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship and/or holds certified qualifications in the servicing and repair of machinery.
• Has previous experience in the groundcare machinery sector (desirable).
• Is a proactive team player who can also work independently, while handling pressure and managing deadlines.
• Is IT literate and comfortable using internal systems.
• Has strong communication skills and a professional approach.
• Holds a full UK driving licence.

Location: Based at Lloyd Ltd Newcastle (Ponteland Road, Throckley, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, NE15 9EP)

Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday), with additional overtime available.
