Your Role
As the Global Sales Vertical Lead Consumer, you will not only manage key corporate accounts but also lead a talented team of Global Key Account Managers and Network KAMs. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the success of your team by providing strategic guidance, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the effective execution of account strategies.This role is crucial in maintaining and growing relationships with our corporate partners, aligning business objectives, and delivering exceptional results across the organization. You’ll oversee the performance of both individual accounts and the team, driving growth opportunities and operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of GKAMs and Network KAMs, ensuring the achievement of team and individual goals.
- Directly manage one or two key corporate accounts, aligning with industry strategies and defined goals.
- Develop and execute account strategies for both personal accounts and those of your team.
- Foster collaboration across internal business units to drive alignment and growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Conduct regular team performance reviews and ensure continuous improvement.
- Monitor monthly performance metrics, take corrective actions when necessary, and maintain CRM accuracy.
- Support negotiations of rates and contractual agreements across the team.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5-10 years of experience in account management or business development, with leadership experience.
- Proven success in leading teams in a global business environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain, logistics (air, sea, road), and consultative selling.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English (additional languages like German, French, or Spanish are a plus).
- Willingness to travel globally (up to 50%).
- Preferred location: UK or Scandinavia.
