Job Description

Position: Financial Accountant. As part of the dynamic finance team, you will steer financial governance, ensuring accuracy in monthly and yearly reporting, maintaining tax compliance, and managing fixed assets. You will liaise with auditors and tax authorities, support cross‑functional teams by providing insights that influence strategic decisions, lead tax processes, and help shape efficiency strategies for growth.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 3–5 years PQE
• Experience in a financial or management accounts‑based role, providing insight and commentary, plus tax compliance
• Hands‑on experience with ERP/accounting software (e.g., Sage, Oracle, IFS)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and tax regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Food industry or commercial environment experience preferred but not essential
