Overview

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Facilities Operative to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete proactive and reactive site maintenance, repair and improvement activities in a professional manner.
  • Respond to repair requests and undertake planned preventative maintenance within target dates.
  • Maintain allocated equipment to safety standards.
  • Monitor and co‑ordinate contractor site activity to maximise value and ensure compliance.
  • Represent the Company and Facilities function professionally at all times.
Operational Standards
  • Act and complete allocated duties within target timescales, ensuring work is safe, effective and efficient.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, communicating with team and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and paperwork as required.
  • Meet agreed intervals with Facilities Team Leader to review progress and agree actions.
  • Contribute to key performance indicators and monitor condition of site facilities.
Reporting and Communication

Maintain complete and accurate records and paperwork relevant to your work.

Planning, Projects and Improvements
  • Identify and report issues that affect service delivery and support continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to allocated site projects as required.
  • Pro‑actively pursue agreed personal development aims.

Skills/Experience

You’ll require technical level knowledge and ability in facilities maintenance sufficient to enable compliance with relevant regulations, British Standards and industry codes of practice. You will also require the ability to multi‑task and tackle a wide variety of non‑related and non‑standard tasks.
