Who you are
- Enthusiasm to learn and grow in a building services coordination role in high-end residential construction projects.
- A relevant qualification in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering, while not mandatory, is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of building services engineering principles, codes, regulations, and industry best practices is an advantage.
- Developing project management skills with the ability to assist in task planning and organisation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to learn and contribute as part of a team.
- An eagerness to develop problem-solving and decision-making skills.

What you’ll do
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to assist in the development of building services plans and strategies.
- Assist in the coordination and integration of various building services systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, security, fire alarm, and AVsystems.
- Participate in regular inspections to ensure compliance and installation quality with building codes, regulations, and project specifications.
- Provide support in resolving conflicts or discrepancies in building services designs or installations.
Project Assistance
- Aid in the development of project plans for building services installations, including timelines and resource management.
- Assist in monitoring project progress and identifying potential risks or delays.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of building services components and equipment.
- Support site visits to observe building services installations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Quality Assurance
- Assist in implementing quality control processes to maintain high standards in building services installations.
- Participate in quality inspections and testing to identify and rectify deviancies or non-compliance.
- Support the buildings services manager in working closely with the relevant sub-contractors.
- Learn from and collaborate effectively with other project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to contribute to projects objectives.
