About the role:

The role is in a small but growing practice and will start with managing a portfolio of varied clients in East Anglia. The client base will encompass small companies, partnerships, and sole trader businesses. In summary:

• Responsible for timely filing of VAT returns, accounts, tax returns, payroll, and other statutory returns
• Liaising on a daily basis with clients face-to-face, by telephone, and email
• Managing junior staff

The successful candidate will:

• Already have at least 2 years of experience (required) in accounting practice and exposure to a wide number of different businesses and looking for additional responsibilities
• Be able to identify tax planning opportunities
• Be looking for career progression
• Understand the importance of client service
• Be confident in their approach and willing to adapt to our style of delivery and efficiency
• Provide an all-around service that includes tax advice, business advice, and other assistance that our clients frequently require

Job Types: Full-time

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Accounting (2 years+ required)
• ACCA/ACA/AAT/ICAEW or equivalent

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Norwich: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• A levels equivalent or above (preferred)
