A leading FMCG firm in Manchester seeks a Category Manager to develop and manage the strategic category agenda, ensuring the delivery of KPI targets across brand and customer portfolios. The successful candidate should possess 3+ years of category experience, ideally in FMCG, and have strong relationship-building skills. Develop and manage the strategic category agenda and relationships to deliver the budgeted KPIs in a complex/scale brand and customer portfolio.
Own and manage the consumer and category agenda internally (use and share insight to influence)
Own and manage the strategic customer category relationship
Own and manage the AAF category agenda with the brand owner
Own and manage the category CI budget and data partners
Ensure all internal and external admin is carried out on time, accurately and in full
Demonstrate a consultative selling approach through knowledge of customer, shopper and consumer utilising the communication skills training provided. This includes:
