A health care provider in Dudley is seeking a full-time Activities Coordinator to enhance the quality of life for residents through tailored activities. In this role, no prior experience is needed, as comprehensive training will be provided. The ideal candidate should be organised and sociable, with a passion for bringing people together and a caring attitude. Employment Type: Full-time / 40 hours per week (includes alternate weekend working)
As anActivities Coordinatoryou will providestimulating and meaningful activities for our residents. You willtailor these activities, taking into account individual skills, hobbies and interests, aiming to improve the quality of life, whilst promoting and upholding our resident’s privacy, dignity and independence at all times.
Your role is to create ahappy and caring atmosphere; puttingresidents needs first, providing a wide range of physical, social, emotional and psychological activitiestailored to the individual. Werespect differencesand recognise our staff and residents will have different needs. This is avaried rolewhich may include youaccompanying residents to the local country fair, leading achair exercise class,reminiscing with a resident about their childhood holidays, ordoing arts and crafts.
No previous experienceis required for this role as we willprovide full training. This role would be suited to you if youenjoy leading and organising activities, areorganised, you aresociable, active, lovingbringing people together.
