Heathrow Airport’s DevSecOps Engineer Lead plays a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s digital transformation by architecting and overseeing a unified CI/CD approach across all digital product teams. This strategy is designed to streamline delivery, enhance secure code development, and support scalable, high-uptime operations, ensuring Heathrow delivers a modern, intuitive digital passenger experience. It will drive efficiencies, value realisation and improve quality.
A key focus of this role is the integration and optimisation of Salesforce, recognised as a core platform at Heathrow, within the DevSecOps ecosystem. The Lead DevSecOps Engineer is responsible for shaping strategy and executing the roadmap for towards a world‑class DevSecOps capability, enabling seamless collaboration and efficient onboarding through a Cohesive development process. Working closely with senior stakeholders, technical leadership, product owners and cross‑functional teams, the role ensures technical feasibility, alignment with business objectives, and the optimisation for reliability, security and cost efficiencies.
This position requires deep expertise in software engineering, DevSecOps leadership, and Salesforce architecture, with a proven focus on CI/CD toolchain and best practices. The Lead will also engage with suppliers to integrate their solutions into Heathrow’s DevSecOps processes, ensuring consistency and compliance with organisational standards.
