We have a really exciting opportunity for a CRM Executive to join our Marketing Team in Wolverhampton.
The CRM Executive will play a pivotal role within the Marketing Department, responsible for managing and optimising the firm’s client relationship management (CRM) systems and processes. The role will support business development and client engagement strategies, ensuring the CRM platform is used effectively to drive growth, enhance client communication, and support the firm’s reputation for excellence.
In addition to technical CRM responsibilities, the role will contribute creatively to the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns, client communications, and events, ensuring messaging is engaging, on‑brand, and aligned with the firm’s strategic objectives.
A typical day will look like:
- Manage and maintain the firm’s CRM database, ensuring data accuracy, compliance with GDPR, and regular updates.
- Manage and monitor data integration between the CRM and the firm’s case management system to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Segment and analyse client data to support targeted marketing campaigns, business development initiatives, and cross‑selling opportunities.
- Coordinate and execute email marketing campaigns, including drafting and refining content, building mailing lists, scheduling communications, and tracking performance.
- Contribute creatively to marketing campaigns by designing visually engaging client communications, presentations, and promotional materials using tools such as Canva, Adobe, or similar.
- Support client events, webinars, and seminars through CRM‑led event promotion, invitation management, registration tracking, and post‑event engagement.
- Provide training and support to fee earners and staff on effective CRM usage and best practices.
- Generate regular reports on campaign performance, client engagement, and business development activity for senior management.
- Work closely with the IT and compliance teams to ensure CRM systems are secure, up‑to‑date, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to enhance client journeys by leveraging CRM insights, automation tools, and creative engagement tactics.
- Support the continuous improvement of marketing processes, templates, and campaign workflows within the CRM.
The ideal person for this role will:
- Have prior experience in a CRM‑focused marketing role, preferably within professional services or the legal sector.
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, InterAction, Salesforce), with the ability to quickly learn new platforms.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Understanding of GDPR and data protection regulations relevant to the UK legal sector.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging, and professional marketing content.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe, or similar design tools to produce marketing materials, presentations, and campaign assets.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Analytical mindset combined with a creative approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with partners, fee earners, and clients.
- Qualifications: Degree in Marketing, Business, Law, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Relevant CRM or marketing certifications are advantageous.
